When Michelle was a little girl, she was mesmerized by the harp. Now she shares that magic with so many others.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Michelle grew up with weekly music lessons on the piano and harp. She continued the musical legacy left by her great-grandparents as they were the first music major graduates at Brigham Young University in 1919.
Under the tutelage of Louise Pratt and then Julie Keyes, Michelle began playing the harp for weddings at age 14. She loved being part of a couple’s most special day. During her schooling years she participated in BYU Harp festivals and played for countless weddings, funerals, and corporate parties.
As the Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona, she taught many eager harp students and travelled internationally with professor, Dr. Carrol McLaughlin, and fellow colleagues to perform at places like the Shanghai Conservatory, the Lemmensinstituut of Holland, and El Escoriale, Spain.
While in school she worked at the Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona. Here, she helped patients graduate their mortal journey with soothing harp music. She felt that a job of this nature was hard to top! She completed her Masters of Music degree in Harp Performance and continues to charm audiences with her talent today.

When Michelle is not at the harp, she enjoys baking cookies with her four children or sipping cinnamon tea while engulfed in a good book.
